NORTH FLORIDA COUNCIL
CUB HIKING CLUB
Lace up your hiking shoes, grab your hiking stick, and come out and join the new North Florida Council CUB HIKING CLUB. Nobody gets left at home, these events are open to all Cub Scouts, siblings, and parents. Hikes will vary in length and duration, and most hikes will be free of charge. Hiking Club patches will be available for $3. After each hike is completed all participants will receive a special glass or metal bead to wear on their patch or uniform. Looking forward to hiking with all Cub Scouts and families. Check out the 2016 schedule.
All hikes start at 9am.
Most hikes will be between one to two miles long. There will be some locations that charge a nominal fee, and we’ll make every effort to notify participants ahead of time. Hike sticks will be available for nominal fee.
Participants are required to wear close toed shoes, and bring the following items; light snack, water, sun screen, and bug spray. A parent must accompany their Cub Scout and siblings.
